Week 8: Restrictions

Restrictions Pre-Film

As we are not currently in the employee of the Royal Air Force we do not have the authority to maintain our booked window of time. Therefore, we have been removed from thursday evening due to a officer's mess football game.

However, we have managed to secure a opening in the weekend, which
is superb considering the mandatory time needed to book the hanger.  Adam has managed to obtain lighting equipment for the music video this weekend. Also we have the whole lights inside the hanger to control at our leisure, optimizing for the best lighting in this video

Being able to upload pictures and videos has been extremely hard via blogger.com It has consumed a lot of a precious 'class time' scanning, uploading and re-formatting video and pictures to upload to blogger. Blogger has been very limited on that specific area, no always wanting to upload our desired items.

The cameras are not of the best quality, they are very unreliable and require a lot of patience from the person operating it. The visual texture that it provides isn't great and we will need to rely on various editing software to bring it up to professional standard. We have used tripods to counteract the shoddy hand movement from the operator allowing us to get a smooth pan when needed for our music video.

They are no worse than anyone else's cameras! Take your time framing, show your understanding of the conventions in terms of visual style, performance and mise en scene and you will be marked accordingly.

This was merely some points we feel that needed to be talked about taking into comparision the amount of restrictions we had.

More restrictions, More to talk about, More to overcome.
